About Global Business


The research center Global Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Steyr develops interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of international sales management, business-to-business marketing, export and intercultural/global human resource management. This entails devising methods and concepts for analysis, planning and control of global business activities in a digitalized and connected world. Research additionally focuses on cultural challenges of cross-cultural activities in order to improve international business by focusing on research in the above mentioned topics and providing tools for export-oriented companies.


Alongside the research center and its projects, intercultural competencies, B2B marketing and international sales management are being conveyed at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Steyr in the bachelor and master program of Global Sales and Marketing. The study programs listed below prepare their students to develop and manage future sales, sales management, marketing and export activities for international companies in a globalized, digitalized and connected world.
